MNC Capital Inc. was engaged on the buy-side by Kafrit Industries (1993) Ltd (“Kafrit Group”), a publicly traded company listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE:KAFR), to help them expand their international presence. Kafrit Group is a global supplier of plastic additive masterbatches and compounds. Some of the applications they specialize in are PC sheets, agricultural films and derivatives, and flame- retardant.
On October 2, 2022, Kafrit acquired Delta Kunststoffe AG, located in Weeze, Germany. Delta is a leading manufacturer of conductive and technical compounds, additives and color masterbatches. Delta is highly regarded for their incredible color, electrically conductive plastics and custom compounding.
With the acquisition of Delta, Kafrit has expanded their European footprint as a global leader in masterbatches and compounds. The transaction creates significant opportunities, efficiencies, and synergies between Kafrit and Delta. The combined companies enjoy strategic advantages which will allow them to create a robust and technical portfolio that will substantially increase their operating strengths.
This is the second proprietary acquisition that Kafrit has completed as a result of MNC creating a strong pipeline of acquisition targets. MNC had advised Kafrit on their acquisition of Polyfil Corp.
