On November 14th, 2018, Kafrit acquired Polyfil Corp., located in Rockaway, NJ, USA. Polyfil is one of the largest independent producers of functional additive masterbatches for polyolefins, with a specialty in film extrusion. In addition to their new operation in the USA, Kafrit is also present in Canada, Europe and China.
With the acquisition of Polyfil, Kafrit has significantly expanded their footprint as a global leader in the masterbatch arena. The transaction creates significant opportunities between Kafrit and Polyfil, as the companies intend to share knowledge, technologies, and products.
